There are words for bowing and for prostration.
“As for bowing, exalt the Lord in it, and, as for prostration, supplicate much in it,for your supplication is expected to be answered then.”
This does not mean that we do not supplicate in bowing. It is that most Remembrance of Allaah in that situation is exalting the Lord. Otherwise, it has been reported,
“Subhaanaka-llaahumma wa bihamdik. Allaahumma-ghfir ly!, Praise be to you, Allaah! Allaah, forgive me!”
This is supplication in bowing. However, exalting the Lord should be more in bowing, and supplication more in prostration.
“… for your supplication is expected to be answered then.”
