What are the rules regarding concealing righteous deeds and making them public when the person knows that making them public has greater good?

A narration of Jareer ibn ‘Abdu-llaah (may Allaah’s Pleasure be upon both) states that he asked the Prophet ﷺ about an intentional glance, so he was ordered to turn away his gaze. (Muslim 2159) What does unintentional glance mean?

I would like to tell you that during my student life I suffered from vanity. Whenever I read a book, memorized some text, or prepared for a lesson, I would be affected by the disease of vanity. A man used to be religious and always active in doing good, but now he has become lax where he only does the minimum religious requirement. Will he be rewarded for his deeds he did before this stage of his life, or will it be invalid?

Allaah grants some people daughters instead of sons and every time some men receive the glad tidings of the birth of a newborn daughter, they become annoyed and begin quarreling with their wives. Some husbands even threaten their wives with divorce if they give birth to another daughter! What advice do you have for such husbands?

People become preoccupied with many things, and they forget that they were created for the sake of worshipping Allaah, the Most Exalted. They seek to increase their wealth and boast about what makes the poor look at them with envy and yearning. My question is, Is there a cure which will protect the poor from yearning, and protect the one whom Allaah has bestowed with wealth fro, such mentioned actions?

What is the meaning of the testimony, ‘There is no deity worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah.

What is the ruling of celebrating the Prophet’s ﷺ birthday, people gathering for it, reciting the Qur’aan in such gatherings and some hadeeth, reciting poems in singing praises of the Prophet ﷺ and organising special food? Is this a good practise of the pious predecessors?
